Description We are offering an opportunity to join our team in Brentwood, Tennessee, as a Sr. Accountant. The role involves handling account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and general ledger tasks. The individual will also be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of journal entries, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, month-end close processes, and using NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP systems.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency in the company's financial statements.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliation to verify the accuracy of data and ensure all financial transactions are accounted for.

• Manage bank reconciliations to confirm all transactions align with bank statements.

• Maintain and update the general ledger on a regular basis to keep accurate financial records.

• Prepare and adjust journal entries to reflect accurate financial activities.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and data management.

• Oversee month-end close processes to ensure timely financial reporting.

• Operate NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP systems for financial management and reporting. Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation

• Skilled in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Knowledge of General Ledger management

• Able to prepare and manage Journal Entries

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Familiarity with NetSuite software

• Knowledgeable in Oracle software

• Proficient in SAP software

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion

• Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure

• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred

• Proven experience in a similar role within a large corporation would be advantageous

• Strong understanding of accounting theory

• High level of interpersonal skills with demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy

• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate issues to all levels of management.
