We are currently seeking a Lead- HR to Join IPS.

Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):
The key purpose of the HR Business Partner is to provide a strategic arm to Business Units in meeting their day-to-day HR requirements. In this role, the HR Business Partner will liaise with the business leaders and managers to introduce specific HR initiatives relevant to business and recommend HR solutions aligned with business objectives. In this role, the respective individual will be primarily responsible for Partnering with the HR and Business teams in building and driving Employee Assimilation, Employee Engagement & Communication, HR Compliance, Employee Relations, Performance Management, and Smart Analytics. Secondary role responsibilities include (but are not limited to) Program Managing HR Initiatives across the Organization.

Required years of experience, training, technical skills, and other requirements for job performance:
At least 6 years of work experience, including HR domain, of which at least 5 years should be in the USA.
This position is located in Rockville, MD / Bridgewater, NJ / Hartford, CT. Candidates must be within commuting distance or willing to relocate to this area. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Role and Responsibilities
Support the following aspects - HR Compliance, Employee Assimilation & Onboarding, Hiring and Deployment
Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement innovative programs, processes, and solution
Proactive liaison and consultation with business stakeholders to understand the changing needs of the business and to suggest solutions aligned with changing priorities
Work with cross-functional and centers of excellence to facilitate end-to-end HR needs for the business on Talent Management, Performance Management, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Staffing, Succession Planning, Organization Structure, and Skills Assessments
Continually evaluate existing work processes and prospective processes to ensure the most effective use of resources.
Audit and recommend updates to HR data and systems in respective portfolio
Assists with all audit requests (external & internal) about employee life cycle
Handle HR activities on internal HR tools
Design and monitor control systems to deal with violations of legal rules and internal policies.
Regularly assess the efficiency of control systems and recommend effective improvements.
Review and evaluate company procedures and reports to identify hidden risks or common issues.

Work experience and Employee Relations,
Work experience in Background checks
Project and Program management

Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education. Candidates who have completed a Master's degree program are strongly preferred.

The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face.
