Job Title: Sandblast Operator

Job Description

Perform paint prep duties using air powered sandblasting equipment, grinders, needle guns, and other hand/power tools to clear off surfaces to prepare for paint to be applied. Inspect each item and remove weld splatter, excess welds, sharp edges to ensure the part/trailer is fully cleared for painting. Operate a forklift and move material around the shop when needed. This is a 1st shift position.

This is a fully on-site position in Bridgman, Michigan.

Work Environment

PPE required, including hearing protection, safety glasses, safety boots with metatarsal guards, face shield, potential respirator. No certifications or medical requirements. The company is building a culture of hardworking individuals who take pride in their work. The environment is a laid-back fab shop where music is played, and individuals work as a team to accomplish tasks. The team size includes pairs of welders building the chassis, with over 100 employees in total.
