Description: LaSante is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), which is a community-based organization that provides comprehensive primary care and preventive care, including health, oral, and mental health services to persons of all ages, regardless of their ability to pay or health insurance status. The dentists educate, restore, and maintain the dental health of patients. LaSante is looking for both PT/FT general dentist(s) proficient in all aspects of adult and pediatric dentistry including direct restorations (fillings), indirect restorations (crowns, onlays, inlays), extractions, and root canals. Treatment will be rendered to a diverse patient population including children, young adults up to seniors. Possibility to qualify for loan repayment programs (LRPs) as per the eligibility guidelines of NHSC.

Responsibilities:

• The dentist provides dental services to patients in accordance with generally accepted standards of care outlined by the ADA, NYSDA, and licensing bodies.

• Provide diagnosis and treatment of dental conditions.

• Refer to specialists when necessary for appropriate treatment of dental conditions or disease.

• Demonstrate a social understanding of the community in order to provide health care in a culturally relevant manner.

• Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends.

  Requirements:

• GPR training or 3+ years in practice

• NYS License

• BLS training
