ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Program Assistant to join our team in a seasonal role for up to 40-hours per week through mid-December. This role provides the organizational and production support needed to scale the number of Uncommon Experiences offerings while maintaining the quality and uniqueness that we are known for. You are a well-organized, quick learner with a can-do and positive spirit. You are passionate about bringing great experiences to life and introducing new instructors to Uncommon Experiences.

The Program Assistant reports to the Experiences Manager.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Program Assistant role includes participation in new instructor screenings, organizing production activities (gathering instructor information, developing class rundowns, briefing facilitators, reviewing class assets, creating materials needed and more) ensuring each experience is built and executed flawlessly.

  • Assist Experiences Manager in the creation and development of new Uncommon Experiences.

  • Ensures new instructors are trained in the Uncommon Goods Brand and understand the rules of engagement and code of conduct of teaching for Uncommon Experiences.

  • Develops all class rundowns and ensures accuracy of facilitator script as well and class instruction.

  • Supports the development of creative briefs often creating the first-draft brief for review and approval by Experiences Manager.

  • Reviews class copy and maker bios for accuracy and flags to appropriate parties for approval

  • Assists with researching class ideas, concepts, and vetting instructors.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communication, or an equivalent field

  • 1-3 years professional work experience

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure

  • Strong administrative skills

  • Detail oriented

  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

  • Ability to adapt well to changing priorities
