Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Heating Air Conditioning Technician at Ignite Mechanical in Metro Detroit, MI. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting HVAC systems, performing preventive maintenance, and handling plumbing and electrical work.

Qualifications:

• HVAC: 1 year (preferred) But willing to train a motivated, hardworking, make it happen kind of individual!
• Construction/power tool experience helpful
• Communication skills/ability to represent the company in a professional way
• Dependability
• Ability to work with others (2-man crews)
• Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance skills
• Plumbing and Electricity knowledge
• EPA Certification
• Ability to work independently and on-site
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Relevant experience in HVAC systems
• High School diploma or equivalent

Tasks:

• Residential furnace, A/C, water heater and duct work installments, replacements, and repairs
• Commercial rooftop unit installations, replacements, and repairs
• Commercial boiler, cooler and duct work installations, replacements, and repairs
• Fabrication in shop/field
