Position Summary

The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Bowdoin College seeks candidates for a one semester adjunct appointment in Hispanic Studies. The appointment is for the fall 2024 semester and begins August 1, 2024, with classes starting September 3, 2024. The successful candidate will teach two sections of an intermediate Spanish language course. This position is not benefits eligible. Native or near-native fluency in both Spanish and English is required. An advanced degree (MA required, PhD preferred) in Spanish, Hispanic Studies, or related discipline is expected.
