BorgWarner Inc. Business Relationship Manager in Bucharest, Romania

Business Relationship Manager (BRM) is a liaison between IT and the business, oriented toward emerging needs. Driving digital transformation by digital technologies to create new or modify existing business processes, culture, and customer experiences to meet changing business and market requirements. Has significant knowledge in subject matters pertaining to both IT and the business. This person needs to have the ability to gather business requirements and convert them into projects or change requests focusing on the value add creation. Experience in manufacturing (best Automotive) process is needed.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with the GSM, PHINIA spin-off and other MD&A leads, and Manufacturing business areas to be a strategic partner, understand business needs and direction, build out and maintain strategic portfolio roadmaps for each area, facilitate and drive annual and ongoing budget planning and management, hold Operations Reviews with each business area and IT partners with KPI metrics and roadmap planning.

  • Liaison for the respective business across IT (i.e, architecture, infrastructure, software development, technology or development partners) to identify the IT teams/areas to engage for projects, support needs and technology deliverables.

  • Main lead for business area with Senior Director of GSM Supply Chain , GSM Supply Chain Senior Managers and facilitate sessions with the Supply Chain Board.

  • Lead other BRM’s in the team to drive consistencies, distribute workload, and designate relationship leads with the business

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a technology-compatible field or like-type industry experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a business relationship management role or leading a technology-based business area

  • People leadership experience

  • Beneficial to have background in Agile development
