Oracle Data Development Specialist in BUCHAREST, Romania

Job Description

What You’ll Do :

  • Guide customers already using or looking to develop and manage Oracle Database solutions to ensure data integrity, security, and performance by adopting best practices and supporting tools in the areas of Database development

  • Collaborate with multi-functional technical teams to collect all relevant inputs to ensure the solution is as complete and actionable as possible.

  • Accelerate customer opportunities with new and existing customers through technical presentations, workshops, solution assistance.

  • Research and evaluate emerging solutions and services to drive continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate directly with product management to steer features based on customers’ inputs and requirements.

  • Create compelling assets encompassing external publications and internal documentation, Oracle APEX and Database Development tools and our recommended processes for running workloads.

Responsibilities

Required Skills/Experience

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3+ years of Solution Engineering experience with a Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience with Oracle Database, Data Development and APEX Low-Code Development

  • Strong development skills and knowledge of database programming language like PL/SQL

  • Knowledge designing and implementing RESTful APIs using the REST architectural style

  • Knowledge of CI/CD capabilities within the database

  • Ability to engage with Customers and Internal Stakeholders to have strategic conversations around Database Development, particularly in trusted advisor roles with C-level executives in relation to IT and Development Departments articulating service and technology solutions in terms of business value and risk.

  • Strong understanding of OCI, including hands-on.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to solve sophisticated technical issues in Data Development, effective communication skills, collaboration across teams, and conveying technical concepts to non-technical key stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to quickly learn new technical domains.
