Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Candidates will typically have 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.

• Typically 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.

• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.

• Distinctive problem-solving, strategic and analytical capabilities, with ability to run analysis, track metrics, and optimize performance.

• Work collaboratively across teams and program areas to support integration of Google and Fitbit feature development.

• Monitor and improve system health and stability of Android and RTOS based devices.

• Consult and help design data collection and metric pipelines for analysis.

• Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
