Oracle Account Cloud Engineer in BUDAPEST, Hungary

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of practical and hands-on experience in designing and building technology enterprise solutions, preferable cloud related. Oracle technology knowledge is a plus, but not required.

  • Personal: Creativity, Credibility, Personal Drive, Influencing and Negotiating, Problem Solving, Openness, Presentation Skills, Communication Skills

  • Inter-personal: Building Effective Relationships, Customer Focus, Effective Communication, Business Acumen, Ability to work in a Team

  • Business and IT Strategy Analysis

  • Experience in IT operations, understanding of IT operations director business pains

  • Natural drive to learn and pick up new challenges

  • Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations and written communication

  • Broad technical experience in Cloud infrastructure and platform solutions (e.g. OCI, Azure, AWS, GCP…) along with a strong understanding of cloud architecture. Knowledge of Oracle platform services and cloud infrastructure (OCI) would be a strong advantage.

  • Broad IT knowledge distributed among following domains: Infrastructure, Networking, Security, DevOps methodology, Microservice architectures, Kubernetes, Cloud-native application design and best practices, Integration and Analytics platforms.

  • Deep database knowledge is a plus, but not main requirement (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL, MongoDB).

  • Industry knowledge is a plus: Public Sector, Utilities, Financial Services, Communications, Healthcare, etc.

  • Fluent English and native Hungarian language

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

You’ll lead pre-sales solution design, building architecture proposals that match our clients’ business needs. Your ideas will embolden customers to unlock new possibilities.

  • Presenting Oracle solutions and architectures in front of the customers and partners

  • Building trusted advisor status and maintaining relationships on all levels, from technical people, IT and Enterprise architects to key technology executives and decision makers

  • Taking the lead of the account strategy, enterprise or solution architecture related initiatives and client meetings

  • Provide assessment of current state architectures and recommend future state architectures

  • Formulating cost/benefit analysis, TCO and ROI cases

  • Engaging as 'solution manager/owner' on key opportunities

  • Advising customers on how Oracle is positioned relative to the competition on key IT issues

  • Working in close alignment with Hungarian Cloud sales team and our named/large customers in the Hungarian market to discover and exploit opportunities for cross and up selling.
