Data Steward

to join our team in Budapest!

The role:

The objective of this role is to manage the end-to-end master data flow for new product launches (NPL) to ensure product information provided to our retail partners are provided on time and accurately. This is critical for a successful product launch.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor NPL SKUs to ensure timely master data process initiation.

  • Validate that mandatory product data across several core systems are fully complete and accurate.

  • Resolve product data integrity issues through escalations and seeking timely clarifications from responsible stakeholders.

  • Ensuring data integrity through cross-functional analyzes and reports.

  • Continuous improvement of catalog synchronization with our retail partners and our B2B applications to optimize the service rate.

  • Initiation and implementation of cross-departmental process optimization.

  • Timely communication and follow-ups on relevant requests/issues/clarifications across stakeholder groups: to ensure data is clean and accurate, in line with launch dates for product launches.

  • Create, track and report on the status of product data/product launches.

  • Own key stakeholder relationships and act as the main point-of contact for OneSource for this support area.

  • Assist/establish and maintain standard operating procedures for data processing and segmentation rules.

  • Define, measure and maintain operating metrics (KPIs/SLAs) on an on-going basis, including reporting and communications as required.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in similar positions.

  • Completed studies in economics or business informatics or comparable training with a technical or commercial orientation.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills in English.

  • Pro-active problem solver who takes ownership of assigned work, with the ability to seek assistance and/or escalate in a timely manner.

  • Good time management skills, with ability and willingness to work across multiple requirements to achieve project objectives.

  • Good stakeholder management skills (e.g. facilitating discussions, seeking clarifications, and presentations), with an ability to foster a good working relationship across stakeholder groups.

  • Logical, with good analytical & problem-solving abilities, e.g. identifying patterns & variations, and the ability to communicate & explain said solution/s.

  • Team player with the ability to think and work across departments.

  • Familiarity with Product Information Management (PIM) solutions and ERP system (SAP) is a plus.

  • Familiarity product data and data governance is a plus.

  • Good understanding of the data lifecycle.

  • Good Excel skills.

  • Experience in master data background is an advantage.

  • We are working in a hybrid structure (10 days per month HO provided)
