Paramount RTR Expert in Budapest, Hungary

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team at Paramount in Budapest as an RTR Expert / Senior Analyst specializing in Programming & Project Accounting .

This is a fixed-term (1 year) position!

As a member of our finance team, your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Manage creation of programming project and asset master data, including budget allocation.

  • Handle purchase orders for contractual obligations from license agreements.

  • Review and approve vendor invoices related to programming licenses.

  • Analyze open purchase order reports to ensure proper asset recording.

  • Create and manage program payment schedules based on contract terms.

  • Monitor programming assets regularly, resolving any missing identifiers.

  • Process monthly amortization and reclassification of assets.

  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial disclosures.

  • Assist in intercompany programming schedules and contingency preparations.

  • Identify and propose process improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Support ad hoc requests from Paramount and internal management.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, Sarbanes Oxley rules, and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting/Finance.

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience.

  • Strong understanding of US GAAP/IFRS accounting standards.

  • Proactive problem-solving skills with a drive for process improvements.

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

  • Proficient in SAP or similar accounting software.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.

Hiring Salary Range: $.The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
