About the Group: The mission of the Operations and Technology Business Risk and Controls (OTBRC) organization in Citi is to support the identification, assessment, and management/mitigation of risk across O&T related to franchise, reputational, regulatory compliance, and client risks. Within OTBRC, the EO&T Regulatory Management team drives alignment of regulatory requirements to Controls for EO&T, working with the businesses to ensure completion of mapping and identifying and monitoring key risks associated with regulatory compliance.
About the role: The Senior Risk & Control Analyst is responsible for reporting on Regulatory Change and Control Mapping for regulations identified as applicable across EO&T and ICG Technology businesses.
This position will also work on transformation-related efforts, including performing analysis on cross-business alignment of identified regulations. Expert knowledge in Excel and Access is required as well experience aggregating large amounts of data to provide insights to senior management. The candidate must be comfortable creating Macros in Access and Excel to drive analysis.
Run a variety of Regulation Management reports and create slides for PowerPoint decks
Follow-up on outstanding past due / coming due Regulatory Changes to get updates and determine if escalation is necessary
Conduct analysis on Regulation data to: determine gaps in applicability, if a regulatory change can be closed (and if not why not), other reporting that is needed, etc.
Work on data related tasks pertaining to Consent Order deliverables
Technical Skills: PowerBi, MS Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint
Assist in awareness campaigns and communications of EO&T Regulatory Management objectives, process
Contribute to developing enhancements of Work Flow Management tool
Provide thought leadership in continually reviewing process and identifying improvements
3-5 years experience in financial services, control compliance or Internal Audit disciplines
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
Fluent English language skills
Highly proficient in Excel and Access, with the ability to create Macros
Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on PowerBi, MS Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint
Experience with work-flow systems
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
