As our site Security Manager you will oversee all security matters mainly related to risk management that could occur at Western Union locations in Argentina that involved whether infrastructure, employees and customers. As the responsible for the Security policies, you will respond for the design, implementation, and improvement of each technological and operational procedure in order to comply with the security program, ensuring at the same time to comply with local legislation aspects.
Under your scope would be the Risk Matrix development, management, and tracking, from there you will need to carry out the threat analysis to determine frequencies and other important trends such as criminal activities, or suspicious ones to provide the best solutions according to profitability and/or the company’s capacity. The new POS openings, suppliers’ coordination, budgeting administration, and safe work environment procedures will be main functions of your role as well.
For such a pivot role you will have a minimum of 7 of years of professional experience working in a multinational environment or a big company with more than 1 location. A Technical or Superior Degree in Security will make you stand out in the role, these could be Certificate In Professional Protection (CPP), Master in Corporate Security, or similar others.
You will need to bring proven experience in Risk Management and a wide knowledge on: low voltage technology (CCTV, Alarms, Access control), basic concepts of networks (IP addresses, MAC addresses). Access Control and CCTV system. Some other experience in operation business systems with global reach as well as managing large-scale projects with multiple deadlines and parties will be key abilities for the role. English medium proficiency will be assessed during the recruitment stage. Your skills with Service Management Software applications to manage requests through tickets will be also valuable and will make you stand out. Strong communication skills, leadership, time management, and the ability to grasp ideas are the most important skills you will be asked to have.
