Description Robert Half is looking to bring an experienced Bookkeeper onto a growing team at an innovative firm. Offered as a a long-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity, this Bookkeeper position will be based in the Buffalo, New York area.

Your responsibilities

• Craft Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits

• Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

• Supervise bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with developing a framework to track financial transactions with an established chart of accounts

• Oversee and manage general ledger

• Produce financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

• Uphold quality historical records by filing documents

• Balance accounts by reconciling entries Requirements - Experience using accounting software

• BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

• 1+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper

• Employee Timesheets experience preferred

• Accounts Payable (AP) experience

• General familiarity with Microsoft Office

• QuickBooks experience highly desired

• Proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Bank Deposit experience

• Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Office 365

• Foundational knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR)
