Quality Control Chemist

ONSITE: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM PT

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Quality Control Chemist, where you will play a crucial role in developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the operation, calibration, cleaning, and maintenance of chemistry laboratory instruments. With a significant number of instruments (approximately 200+) and processing over 500 samples daily, your expertise will help bridge the documentation and knowledge gaps in our current team. Your responsibilities will include writing SOPs, performing inventory checks for chemicals and consumables, creating chemical hygiene plans, collaborating with external vendors for equipment maintenance, reviewing and approving investigations, and developing staff in Root Cause Analysis.

MUST HAVE

  • 3 + Years Experience writing SOPs for chemistry equipment such as HPLC and ICP-MS

  • GMP data documentation with validated/locked calculation spreadsheets

  • Inventory maintenance including organized storage and standard ordering processes

Soft Skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external vendors

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

  • Capacity for developing and mentoring staff
