What will I be doing?

  • To be responsible for a composites repairs, ensuring repairs are completed in line with QCD requirements.

  • Liaise with the MRB & engineering teams to determine and validate possible repair schemes.

  • Working closely with the Operations, Scheduling & Quality teams in prioritising work accordingly, whilst ensuring all procedures and processes are adhered to.

  • Taking care of yourself, your colleagues, the company and the community to build a sustainable business for the long term.

  • Carrying out responsibilities of an employee as outlined in the Company's Health and Safety Policy.

  • Working rigorously to SAFRAN group procedures.

  • Ensuring high standards of quality are maintained throughout repair/rework process.

  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment and to support HSE & 6S initiatives.

  • Taking a proactive approach in ensuring all work performed is per work instruction and meets process and/or engineering definition.

  • Promoting and contributing to initiatives aimed at improving products and manufacturing processes.

  • Direct involvement in routine governance, including QRQC, QRAP & Control Room meetings, along with any Quality reviews (8D for example).

Job Requirements

What do you need from me?

  • Experience in the lay- up of pre-preg and associated materials and consumables.

  • Good awareness of Composite and Metallic structures and materials.

  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes and assembly techniques.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Good time and priority management skills.

  • Good planning and organization skills.

  • Previous Aircraft Composite Repair experience.
