Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. Sales Process Coordinator in Burns Harbor, Indiana
Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has an immediate opportunity for a Sales Process Coordinator at our Burns Harbor, IN office. As a Sales Process Coordinator at Cleveland-Cliffs Steel, you will be a key interface between account sales and sales management for all sales groups. The Sales Process Coordinator will compile sales forecast data and monitor customer shipment totals to transmit to Finance for accumulated customer rebates.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Compile and review data for the annual product business plan. Review and correct discrepancies prior to submitting to commercial leadership for approval
Manage the outside sales forecast – ensure accuracy and confirm alignment with contract expectations. Resolve any discrepancies
Manage contractual compliance for rebate / discount structure for Commercial agreements for both Light Flat Rolled, Plate and Specialty products. Resolve any discrepancies
Update and monitor product contract bookings for reporting to Account Managers and Commercial leadership
Train new Account Managers to use the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, S&OP reporting interface for forecasting as well as various other programs / policies needed for outside sales roles
Lead weekly Sales, Customer Service, CTS, and Product Control weekly meetings for Plate products
Assign/change customer account master list in GMS and confirm that all accounts are properly supported
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
3 years’ relevant work experience
Microsoft Suite Proficiency – Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Power Bi
Experience using SAP
Team Player – willing to back up other Sales Coordinator and accomplish tasks for each product group
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Previous Cleveland-Cliffs or Legacy Company experience
Experience using IBP forecast familiarity
Participation in product sales meetings as needed
Product entry and shipping and customer data reporting as requested by the Enterprise or Senior Director
Willing to expand product and customer knowledge beyond product scope
Some travel to production facilities and participation in customer or industry events
