Job Title: Inventory Coordinator

Pay: Starting at $65,000 (based on experience).

    About the Job

    This position is accountable for supporting the inventory management process across all Mississippi Lime facilities. Primary responsibilities will include being the central point of contact for all inventory requests, optimization of inventory processes, and making a continued step change in inventory reporting. Position may be located at Ste Genevieve, Verona, Calera, or the St. Louis corporate office.

  • Manage spare parts inventory; gather spare parts, location of parts, quantity verifications, etc.

  • Coordination of inventory paperwork and inventory levels.

  • Adjust stock levels as needed.

  • Create, log, and maintain inventory spreadsheets using MS office.

  • Order parts and charge to appropriate cost centers.

  • Stage parts and supplies for scheduled jobs.

  • Load and unload trucks for stocked inventory parts in a timely manner.

  • Assists with inventory accuracy reporting, cycle counts, and audits.

  • Employees are expected to perform other responsibilities as needed.

    Required Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Experience: 2+ years of related experience required.

  • Licenses: Valid Driver’s license required.

  • Knowledge: Individual will be working closely with the Maintenance department, working knowledge of maintenance inventory beneficial. Familiarity with ERP systems preferred.

  • Skills: Strong communication and computer skills required including MS Office.

  • Abilities: Able to use defined processes to make recommendations on stocking decisions, part number creation, and inventory reporting.

  • Behaviors: Must be a team player, balance multiple priorities, self-motivated, and be able to gain key insights from business data.
