    Job Description

SENIOR TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER, Open Learning-Engineering and Products Department, to join a team with big ambitions to redefine the use of technology in teaching and learning at MIT and beyond. Open Learning’s digital products--including MIT Open, MITx Online, OpenCourseWare, MIT xPro, MIT Bootcamps, and MITx Residential--are used by millions of learners and educators worldwide. Will report to the senior director of engineering and products and work closely with the Engineering and Products leadership team to define project scope, goals, and deliverables and guide execution; effectively prioritize tasks and resources to ensure the timely delivery of projects; monitor project progress, maintain time frames, and provide regular status reports; serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders; and facilitate communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability. Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field; at least five years of relevant experience in technical project management, with a focus on web applications; excellent leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills; ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams; technical background and proficiency with software development processes; proactive and results-driven approach to responsibilities; and comprehensive understanding of product management principles and methodologies. Salary range: $120,000 - 130,000, final salary to be determined by MIT’s compensation team based on the skills and experience of the candidate.4/9/24
