The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking Expression of Interests from highly motivated Configuration Managers with Aviation Mission Planning experience who will join our team to provide technical expertise and advice to support the Aviation Mission Planning.

Under direction from the Aviation Mission Planning Systems Engineering Lead, the position would support and enforce the configuration management requirements, including configuration item (CI) types, naming conventions (software and documentation), required attributes and relationships.

All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active NV1 clearance. Only candidates holding an NV1 clearance or above should apply.

The Configuration Manager would be accountable to the Aviation Mission Planning Capability Lead to provide technical support for the AMS deliverables supported by Aviation Mission Planning Team as follows:

  • Performing configuration audits and reporting of the configuration management data.

  • Developing and maintaining configuration management processes and procedures.

  • Ensuring that all information within the configuration management system is accurate and up to date.

  • Ensuring that appropriate views of configuration management data are maintained and made available to those for whom they are targeted.

  • Providing advice and support to the Aviation Mission Planning Capability Lead and where required the ACTSS Senior Engineering Manager to ensure that change impacts across configuration items are understood and managed.

  • Ensuring that the information pertaining to configuration management is adequately protected, stored, and backed up.

  • Contributing to the identification and management of technical risks and issues within the support to operations scope.

  • Reviewing, verifying, and improving documentation produced in support of AMS development and sustainment.
