Elior North America Operations Support Manager in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania
Elior North America is seeking an Operations Support Manager. This role is “hands-on” where teaching and training is imperative. The role will assist the District Managers with the oversight of assigned facilities, ensuring leadership and guidance in operations, finances, human resources and client relationships, while providing guidance to the facility Food Service Directors.
The Operations Support Manager will be responsible for:
Actively support and apply all company and facility policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of service is being provided to our customers.
Visit assigned facilities as directed. May act as the facility Food Service
Director in the event of FSD absences, staff shortages, etc.
Assist District Manager in addressing facility needs as necessary.
Demonstrate working knowledge of operational, accounting and human resources policies and procedures (i.e. new hire process, payroll, etc.).
Support Food Service Director with and evaluate each facility’s performance in the areas of food production, menu and recipe standards, health and sanitation standards, uniforms, purchasing, cash systems, inventories, safety, payroll, human resources compliance and recordkeeping.
Assist in planning, developing and implementation of culinary production for special events and catered functions (as needed and if applicable)
Assist with new account openings and account closings.
Keeps District Manager informed of facility activities, needs, and concerns.
Minimum Requirements for the Operations Support Manager:
Minimum 2 years’ experience coordinating food service operations.
Demonstrated ability to lead and guide teams.
Strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Possess professionalism and passion for customer and client relations.
Ability to travel.
Ability to relate well to individuals and groups with widely varying backgrounds, perspectives, education, and skills.
