Key responsibilities for this role include:

Oversees the Viatris marketing and advertising promotional review processes to ensure streamlined, efficient, and fiscally responsible execution of the review of Promotional Materials and Commercial Communications for all NA Business Units.

Supervising and directing a team dedicated to the facilitation and coordination of the promotional review process across North America Business Units. The team composition may include Managers, Specialists, Promotional Review Editors, and other temporary and contract personnel as deemed necessary to fulfill business requirements.

Builds, provides, and captures monthly metric and KPI reporting for Marketing Operations.

Oversees and maintains usage of the Veeva Vault system including approving new users, overseeing, and directing ongoing maintenance and reconfiguration of the customized platform.

Creates a training and development plan for all NA promotional review stakeholders to include annual and ongoing training modules covering: SOP adherence, Veeva training, OPDP and regulations/legal training, and other topics as identified.

Promoting strategic thought and focus on the big picture (understanding impact of actions beyond the short term, as they relate to product/company risk and compliance, and to effects/outcomes on cross functional teams).

Upholding integrity of internal compliance policies by assisting direct reports in promoting adherence by internal (job owners, reviewers, etc.) and external (agencies, etc.) stakeholders to promotional review guidelines. May include assisting legal, regulatory and compliance departments with audits of promotional materials.

Develops opportunities and drives pilot work groups for continuous improvement and process enhancement in support of Marketing Operations activities including but not limited to the promotional review process, SOP's, Lifecycle Management of promotional materials and policies.

Empowers department team members and provides expertise to enhance the teams level of knowledge and quality of marketing operations program execution.

Responsible for hiring, on-boarding, managing, coaching, performance management, and career development of team members.

Performs special projects and other management-related duties as assigned.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

Minimum of a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and minimum of 10 years of experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

Must possess strong knowledge of PhRMA guidelines and OPDP standards.

Must possess people manager/supervisory experience. Rapid, disciplined decision-making capability required. Must have strong communication and coaching skills. Experience in managing internal and external temporary employees.

Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with various external partners and vendors.

Experience with negotiating vendor contracts.

Must be able to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities while interacting with key department stakeholders and external partners. Must adhere to project timelines and deadlines. Must maintain and eliver budget analysis for a variety of programs. Works on data with an eye on accuracy, problem solving and teamwork. Must demonstrate the ability to learn new tasks and implement change when required. Must have strong organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Strong negotiation skills. Computer proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Ability to read and interpret general business documents. Ability to write routine reports and general business correspondence. Ability to work with peers and communicate basic concepts.

Normal office situation.

Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English is preferred.
