Canton Drop Forge, a leading producer of large, closed die forgings in Canton, Ohio, is seeking Heat Treat Loaders to join their team!

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Transfer various fabricated steel forms to-and-from furnaces, containers, trays, and totes using hoist or by hand
• Loading and unloading material from heat-treating furnaces
• Abrades steel forgings using abrasive blasting equipment
• Operates abrasive blasting equipment
• Handling and operating various tools and equipment relating to processing
• Operation of Powered Industrial Trucks
• Performing duties within coordinated work effort of the steel receiving operation
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS: 

• High school degree or GED preferred
• Must be able to read
• Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions
• Must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Excellent oral communication
• Follows all company policies and safety procedures
• Ensure that all the parts being worked on are of the highest quality

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

• Must be able to stand majority of shift
• Use of respirators masks and PPE suits for specified tasks
• Job involves standing, walking, twisting, turning, reaching, bending, climbing steps, lifting, pushing, and pulling
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly during the day
• Must be able to tolerate extreme heat in summer months and extreme cold during winter months

*WAGE: * $21.35 -  $23.35/hour

* DETAILS:* Full-Time/ 1^st^ shift- 7am to 3 pm; 2^nd^ shift -- 3 pm to 11 pm; 3^rd^ shift 11 pm to 7 am
