Production Supervisor Duties:

• Lead and develop an engaged team to work together in a productive and safe manner every day
• Facilitate daily team meetings and communicate expectations regarding our manufacturing goals of safety, quality, and productivity
• Coach and develop team members to continuously improve and perform at a high level
• Manage time and attendance for assigned team members, including communicating and addressing absences
• Address performance issues or policy violations through the corrective action process
• Coordinate with other Production Supervisors to ensure teams work together cross-functionally and across shifts
• Communicate with individuals in Sales, Purchasing, and Engineering to ensure we are providing superior value to our customers both internal and external
• Work closely with Human Resources to ensure staffing needs are met including participation in the interview and hiring process
•  Attend meetings, run reports, and schedule tasks as necessary to meet production goals
• Perform tasks within the department when needed and able to assist with production goals

   Requirements:

• Experience leading an engaged team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is required

• Previous experience with welding, powder-coating or heavy assembly processes is helpful
• Must be able to prioritize tasks and make decisions in a timely manner 
• Must be willing to become crane and forklift certified upon hire
• Must be able to read and interpret work orders and thoroughly complete paperwork 
• Moderate computer skills required, including experience with email

• Must be able to wear all required PPE for the positions, including safety glasses, hearing protection and steel or composite toe footwear
