Responsibilities

The purpose of this role is to provide administrative, clerical, and sales support for the credit union's Investment Services Group with the goal of providing exceptional customer service to members, associates, and the community at large. The role works closely with the Wealth Advisor to provide the administrative support needed to accomplish their work and enhance the overall efficient operation of the group. A portion of the work involves confidential matters that require a high degree of discretion on the part of the assistant. The position exists to provide support to the Wealth Advisors.

The Investment Assistant position provides administrative support services, works with a team and completes other work assignments as requested. The role will provide administrative, organizational, and infrastructure support to Wealth Advisors by preparing reports, presentations, correspondence (including memos, e-mails, meeting notes, overnight courier packages, etc.), and other written material from oral instruction and written communication. The role will also respond to calls, written requests, and direct inquiries for general information from clients, members, and associates and monitor and follow up with individuals to ensure that all information requests and/or task assignments initiated are completed. In addition, the role will track and responds to referrals from all sources as directed by the associated Wealth Advisor(s) and provide feedback and coaching to associates on the referrals they make. Finally, the role will help prepare information for client reviews/meetings. This may include utilization of resources to prepare presentations to demonstrate portfolio performance and asset allocation breakdowns/comparisons. This role regularly requires teamwork with various personnel in the credit union; and specifically, the branch personnel. There is no direct revenue or cost management responsibility. However, the position does affect the credit union's profitability and member satisfaction through efficient and accurate completion of the role and has a significant impact on client satisfaction and the revenue generating ability of the business unit. Finally, the role will maintain compliance to all credit union, NCUA, broker dealer, agency, FINRA policies and regulations. This is a 100% onsite opportunity based out of our Walnut Bottom branch.

SKILLS: * Strong organizational, analytical, time management and problem-solving skills and sufficient expertise to organize details * Ability to respond to calls, written requests, and direct inquiries for general and project specific information and prepare reports, presentations, correspondence and other written material from oral instruction and written communication * Proven ability to take independent action on assigned tasks and prioritize work in multifaceted environments that simultaneously work with various departments and customers * Ability to work with various personnel on unrelated projects involving multiple tasks and deadlines, specific deliverables, and expected tangible outcomes * Familiarity with industry contact management software

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHY ICAL DEMANDS: * Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing * Visually able to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading * Ability to sit for extended time periods * Sufficient manual skill for operation of PC keyboard and other standard office equipment * Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel * Ability to exert minimum amounts of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects Qualifications

2-4 years of related administrative and clerical support experience working in the financial services industry; with a preference for direct investment services department experience About Us
