Description

The Accounts Payable Specialist position is responsible for performing the Accounts Payable (AP) functions. This includes working with accountants and clients to ensure the AP function process runs smoothly through all systems and to the financials.

What You Will Do

• Manage the client vendor activity

• Accounts Payable Maintenance

• Process weekly check runs for multiple clients

• Perform Credit Card and Expense Report review and approval processing in expense management software

• General Ledger

• Perform Accounts Payable Reconciliations

• Perform Bank Account Reconciliations

• Perform Credit Card Reconciliations

• Reporting Cash position to clients.

• Assist with monthly Journal Entries

• Assist with monthly and yearly closing and reporting

  Requirements

What you will bring:

• Associates or bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred

• 3+ years' experience required processing accounts payable processing

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel skills

• Ability to work with confidential matters

• Detail oriented

• Good professional communication and organizational skills

• Self-starter and ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Experience with ERP a plus
