Tuscola Behavioral Health Systems Community & Residential Support Staff in Caro, Michigan

Tuscola Behavioral Health Systems (TBHS) has been providing services within Tuscola County since 1974. As the Community Mental Health Agency within Tuscola County, we are here to provide services to children with severe emotional disorders, adults with mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual/developmental disorders.

  • Rate of Pay: $19.14 - $22.51 per hour
  • This job is located in Caro, Michigan.
  • Full-time position; 40 hours/wk. 3rd Shift; shift premium (50 cents/hr.)
  • *$1,000.00 sign-on bonus available *(If eligible, first payment at 6 months; second payment at 12 months)

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Michigan driver's license and automobile insurance required
  • Satisfactory completion of required group home curriculum training
  • Personal qualifications of maturity
  • Ability to communicate with other adults
  • Ability to respond to the needs of new situations

Responsibilities:

  • Perform activities that facilitate individual's served independence and self-sufficiency, while promoting community inclusion and integration.
  • Services are provided in a licensed adult foster care setting and may include assistance with activities of daily living, personal care tasks, meal preparation, household maintenance, medication management, and transportation.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and actively supports culturally competent, recovery based practices.
