Mentor Technical Group Maintenance Engineer in Carolina, Puerto Rico

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: ( List specific duties and responsibilities)

  • Maximize clients? equipment reliability focusing on equipment availability, equipment downtime reduction, and maintenance cost reductions. Develop and establish strategies and methods that improve preventive/predictive maintenance. Use reliability processes to implement risk assessments and financial justifications to advise clients on asset management. Technical writing of PM?s, PM reviews, PM modifications, Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Failure Mode and Criticality Analysis (FMCA), management of Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

  • Apply theory and principles of electrical engineering in planning, designing and maintenance of structures and facilities under the direction of Site Leader

  • Identify cost improvement opportunities.

  • Oversee activities directly related to providing services.

  • Train employees on Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Reliability technologies, Maintenance planning and CMMS systems

  • Preserve MENTOR Technical Group as the preferred provider for reliability services.

    EDUCATIONAL or EQUIVALENT REQUIREMENTS: (Minimum required to perform the job.)

  • Bachelor?s Degree Engineering field is required

  • 4-5 years of e xperience in the mechanical/electrical utilities maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
