The Clinical Nurse Supervisor provides direction, coordination, supervision and implementation of professional and supportive services to residents/elders in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. The Clinical Nurse Supervisor assures that residents/elders are treated with respect and dignity, recognizing individual needs and encouraging independence. The Clinical Nurse Supervisor is responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating resident/elder care to ensure the highest quality of care for the residents Education Requirements and Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D) is required. Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice. No limitations or provisional license. Minimum of two years' experience in nursing with a combination of assisted living, long term care, dementia care or acute care. Prior supervisory/management experience. Proficient in assisted living regulations and statutes. Physical Requirements: Ability to endure prolonged walking, sitting, standing, use of pulling, bending, and stooping movements. Ability to lift 351bs or less. Possible hazardous exposure to airborne and bloodborne pathogens. PPE use required as conditions and policy warrant. Subject to internal working conditions.
