About the Role:

Join our team as a Senior Software QA Engineer and take the lead in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge mobile video management applications for Transit.

Responsibilities :

• Test Development : Craft detailed, comprehensive test plans and cases.

• Automation : Implement tests using automated tools to enhance efficiency.

• Defect Tracking : Document bugs and collaborate with developers for resolutions.

• Performance Testing : Execute system-level testing for reliability and scalability.

• Security Assurance : Assess and improve system security measures.

• Documentation : Maintain precise records of testing phases and defects.

• Process Improvement : Continually refine QA processes and methodologies.

  Required Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent.

• Experience : 7+ years in QA, with a focus on video management systems.

• Skills :

• Networking :

• Mastery of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, RTSP).

• Network configuration and troubleshooting for video streaming.

• Network security, VPNs, and firewall configurations.

• Automated Testing :

• Proficient in tools like Selenium, Appium, or custom frameworks.

• Scripting for automation in Python, JavaScript, or Bash.

• Performance & Security Testing :

• Familiar with tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.

• Knowledge of security testing practices and tools.

• E2E solution testing:

• Setting up E2E test environments including software applications and hardware e.g. cameras, DVRs, and networking equipment.

• Troubleshooting and isolating issues across Hardware and Software

  Preferred Qualifications :

• • Experience with complex networks for video systems.

• Mentorship of junior engineers in advanced testing techniques.
