Luminator Technology Group TECNICAL ASSISTENT in Caxias do Sul, Brazil

​​​​​​​Job Requirements:

  •  Make repairs to routes, circuits or electronic components, ensuring compliance with technical standards. In addition, completing the Warranty Request must contain information such as: date of manufacture of the product, serial number, code of the problem found, name of the technician who carried out the repair and code and quantity of all items replaced;

  •  Separate spare parts requested by customers, in order to meet the demand for replacement of product components, as well as those intended for warranty exchange;

  •  Check problems/defects detected in itineraries returned by customers, identifying them accurately and mapping them in a specific report within their scope of knowledge;

  • Carry out visits to customers, collecting information, complaints and suggestions, for subsequent discussion and issuing opinions for improvements;

  •  Provide support to customers in cases of difficulties in the assembly, installation or programming of itineraries, acting to publicize changes or launches of the company on the market;

  •  Analyze products that present problems while still in the factory, in order to solve the problems and improve processes;

  •  Recover damaged parts, adjusting and cleaning them, when possible, thus minimizing costs and providing opportunities for reuse;

  •  Suggest/propose improvement measures within the sector, with regard to

  •  process, quality, productivity, material rationalization, space optimization, scrap reduction, layout, among others;

  •  Assist in other sectors of the company when necessary;

  •  Open materials that are due for repair and check invoices and products;

  •  Control the time of each product under test (24 hours by default) and after this test time, remove products from the test area and allocate them to the release area for return or, if the product is owned by Mobitec, directly at the Assistance stock location;

  • Hold monthly meetings with the Quality and Production Sector with the aim of both sectors being aware of possible new product problems and then finding quick and effective actions to address such problems, thus minimizing our problem rate;

  •  Analysis of spreadsheets for repairs carried out in the field by assistants, identifying new problems and opening a warranty request so that the Technical Assistance Admin Analyst can enter the data into an Excel spreadsheet and the Focco System, as identified in her tasks
