JPMorgan Chase Collateral Service Analyst-Commercial Lending in Charlotte, North Carolina

As a Collateral Servicing Analyst within Wholesale Lending Services Collateral Monitoring, you will serve as the primary loan operations contact for approx. 25-35 clients with A sset B ased L oans (ABL) provided by JPM organ Chase

Job Responsibilities

  • M aintain s a professional and courteous manner with all borrowers, including assisting borrowers by answering questions and resolving problems promptly; queries to be expected are billing, availability, borrowing, or other system update requirement related (e.g. advance rate update via appraisal, change in sublimit or commitment, etc).

  • P erform a post loan closing review of the relationship, including review of loan agreement and field exam and confirm deal tickler set up

  • D raft and maintain the Client Resource Guide for all assigned accounts and assist with loan onboarding.

  • M onitor the timeliness and completeness of the client's collateral reporting and verify authorized signatures are on the reports; Will also advise the Credit Risk Manager of reporting inadequacies and other issues and, under the Credit Risk Manager's direction, work with the borrower to resolve these problems.

  • R eview, analyze, reconcile, and post the borrowing base certificate and/or sales and collection reports and supporting documentation to confirm the value of the borrower's collateral as well as the availability and the collateral system; should be able to calculate ineligibles and reconcile collateral to agings, perpetuals and financial statements or ledgers.

  • Maintain effective and regular line of communication with the Credit Risk Manager on assigned accounts, and alert them to any unusual trends observed in performing routine job duties. Other duties and special projects may be assigned by management.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 1+ years of e xperience with commercial lending loan documentation, receivable, inventory and/or other type of collateral monitoring OR Asset Based Lending operations

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Familiarity with mainframe loan systems and/or commercial lending loan accounting systems.

  • Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to complete complex reconciliation s

  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written, both with internal bankers and clients

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proficien cy in ACE/Stucky and LoanIQ

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting

This is a hybrid role which requires going into the office 3 days a week with 2 days flexibility to work from home, which is subject to change.

Final Job Grade and officer title will be determined at time of offer and may differ from this posting.
