Overview and Essential Functions
Prince Telecom is looking for a qualified candidate to supervise our fiber projects in the Charlotte, NC & Raleigh, NC areas.

The Field Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of technicians in the installation and repair of residential and business services. This includes basic and multi-line telecommunications equipment, advanced services, inside wire, service drops and fiber locates.
Salary: $50,000 - $65,000
Job Type: Full Time
What you will do:
Supervise a team of FTTH in-home and SMB installation technicians
Coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of field staff.
Coordinate scheduling, assist dispatch with daily job routing and ensure adequate staffing.
Identify problem areas in the department and communicate problems and possible solutions to the Project Manager.
Develop procedures and implement them to better organize the team/department.
Assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to technicians.
Assist in recruitment and training efforts.
Assist in warehousing and logistics support, as needed.
Establish, implement, and maintain operating standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
Track employee performance, tool assignments, vehicle assignments, uniforms, consumable items, etc. through the creation and use of spreadsheets and other documents.
Perform quality control inspections, and correct/coach any issues found.
Interface with customers to resolve complaints.
Perform various field technician duties as needed, including but not limited to, carrying and climbing a ladder when necessary.
Perform other duties not listed here, as they arise, and as they are assigned to you.

Qualifications
What we are looking for:
Minimum of 1 year fiber optic or cable installation experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to work a very flexible schedule
Must be able to work in a fast paced time sensitive environment
Able to handle multiple tasks and last-minute changes
Team player
High attention to detail
Emphasis on customer service and strong communication skills is required
Former supervisory experience a plus
Valid driver's license (required)
