MetLife Group Policy Administration Analyst in Charlotte, North Carolina
Role Value Proposition:
This role will be focused on collaborating with internal and external partners to develop innovative processes and measures for enrollment and reenrollment mailings for Executive Benefits group customers. Position will focus efforts to create, pilot and implement new and enhanced solutions for customer enrollment communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Working with partners to level set expectations for Group Customer communications; providing status updates and final documents to partners.
Run data reports from various systems needed to create customer specific documents, manipulate data to match source document fields, format of source documents to be Global Branding complaint, creation of final documents and mailing of.
Audit of documents against original data sources to ensure accuracy of data and quality of final documents.
Create and fulfill paper enrollment booklet requests.
Run reports and queries as needed.
Understand and support Onsite Services guidelines and apply sound business judgment in situations that are outside of guidelines
Increase overall Onsite Services awareness, knowledge of processes and system capabilities by proactively educating partners
Troubleshoot as necessary with customer and partners to ensure a smooth event, addressing and resolving any issues that arise.
Provide feedback on process and technology related to the Fulfillment processes
Assist with special projects and other tasks as requested by management.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
High School Diploma
2-3+ years of experience in various business roles with progressive responsibility, preferably within the insurance industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint; ability to create and use formulas in excel and formatting components in word.
Strong knowledge of Adobe Acrobat
Excellent proof-reading skills
Analytic thinker capable of streamlining and simplifying complicated processes
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills - including oral and written communications, relationship building, and collaboration across departments
Demonstrated ability to self-manage high volume of diverse work activities with attention to details and ability to inspire the trust, confidence and respect of peers and others
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent of experience and education
Demonstrates collaboration and problem-solving success with team members and partners
Proficient communication and presentation skills - both in person and within virtual environment
Understanding of product features and plan designs for MetLife group products
Creates, captures, and executes on personal development opportunities and actively engages as student of the business
Ability to work independently, communicate clearly and concisely
Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint, including Visual Basic Coding skills in Word documents
