AT&T Manager-Fleet Field Operations in Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description:

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain robust relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring that all outsourced services meet the organization’s needs in terms of quality, timeliness, and cost.

  • Contract Management and Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with vendors, focusing on favorable terms, competitive pricing, and clear service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure accountability and quality of service. Regularly review and renegotiate contracts to align with organizational goals and market conditions.

  • Operational Oversight: Monitor the performance of outsourced services, ensuring they are delivered in accordance with agreed-upon standards and timelines. This includes overseeing maintenance schedules, repair work, and any other outsourced fleet services.

  • Cost Management: Develop strategies to optimize spending on outsourced services, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising service quality. Implement budget controls and monitor expenditures against budget forecasts.

  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Utilize fleet management systems to track and analyze the performance of outsourced services. Prepare detailed reports on vendor performance, cost analysis, and the impact of outsourced services on overall fleet operations.

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all outsourced services comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Implement risk management strategies to minimize potential liabilities related to outsourced services.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of outsourced fleet services. Stay informed about industry trends and innovations that could enhance fleet operations.

Education: Preferred Bachelors Degree or equivalent.

Experience: Typically 2 to 5 years relevant experience.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in fleet management, preferably with a focus on managing outsourced services.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

  • High proficiency in data analysis, budgeting, and financial management.

  • Solid understanding of fleet operations and maintenance practices.

  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, compliance standards, and risk management practices.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

This role demands a strategic, analytical professional who excels in negotiation and relationship management. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to ensure that outsourced vending services contribute positively to the organization's fleet efficiency, cost savings, and operational goals.

Location: Georgia, North/South Carolina, Florida

Relocation assistance is not available.

Ready to work 3-5 days in the office per week.

Our Manager - Fleet Field earns between $87,200-$140,200 USD. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
