Job Summary
The Financial Quality Control Analyst is responsible for analyzing complex trending, maintaining system integrity, and calculating financial impact data validations to support accurate month-end financial billings for our customers and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
Perform detailed analysis and validation of financials through the development of reporting tools including Excel and PowerBI
Analyze purchase data and prepare internal/external financial reporting
Ensure accurate invoices are generated from proprietary database
Present findings and inquiries across teams to solicit feedback via formal/informal communication
Learn and demonstrate comprehensive understanding of functions across multiple teams in order to oversee the accurate completion of processes
Resolve customer challenges, ad-hoc requests and concerns
Formulate and adapt to new methodologies to effectively perform QC processes in an everchanging and complex business model
Ensure all dealings with suppliers, clients, and internal personnel are carried out ethically
Reconcile, validate, and generate accurate corrections to invoicing disputes
Moderate travel may be required depending on location
Qualifications:
Completion of undergraduate degree in a related area and/or relevant business experience
2+ years experience in a related field dealing with finance/accounting, auditing, trending, or foodservice
Self motivated to learn and master new concepts or processes across the business
Experience in problem solving to identify root cause of issues; inherent curiosity of trends and patterns
Flexible/adaptable to change; able to work with a sense of urgency without compromising quality of work
Collaboration within a team and department;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable leading and taking charge of projects
Ability to perform complex calculations and manipulate large data sets
Prior foodservice experience is preferable
This position requires a detail-oriented team player with excellent follow-through
Must have willingness and flexibility to work lengthy hours during month end close
Computer Skills - advanced level knowledge of Excel with heavy use in pivots and V-Lookups; Power BI skills preferred
