As a Sr. Strategic Sourcing Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for managing the sourcing process for various categories of goods and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify sourcing needs, develop sourcing strategies, and negotiate contracts with suppliers. Your role will have a direct impact on cost savings, supplier performance, and overall supply chain efficiency.

You will report directly to our Sourcing Manager and you'll work out of our Atlanta or Charlotte location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

• Conducting market research and supplier evaluations to identify potential suppliers

• Developing and implementing sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery

• Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and terms

• Managing supplier relationships and performance to drive continuous improvement

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand sourcing needs and requirements

• Monitoring market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for improvement

You must have:

• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement

• 1+ years demonstrated experience influencing others without direct authority.

• 1+ years demonstrated high impact results in process improvement, including across functions.

• Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Tools

• Expertise in core procurement systems including SAP & Compass
