Our Team:

The Site Facilities and Utilities Engineering Manager will oversee maintenance, repair and overall management of building systems. You’ll develop and deliver on multi-year site facilities equipment plans and manage facility & utility capital projects to support the site master plan.

Main responsibilities:

  • The Site Facility and Utilities Engineering Manager will have direct responsibility for facility infrastructures including, but not limited to HVAC, boilers, chilled water, compressed air, purified water, plumbing and building automation systems.

  • Manage site water, gas and electricity utilities.

  • Manage facilities personnel, including planner and technicians, to ensure work is performed safely and according to all quality guidelines.

  • Serve as the SME for all facility and utility systems during HSE, Quality, and financial audits.

  • Continuous monitoring of site utilities through building automation system.

  • Coordinate maintenance activities with Operations and Maintenance teams to troubleshoot, modify, and improve facilities equipment at each of the four plants.

  • Performs all aspects of project engineering including design, procurement, construction management, installation, and qualification as it relates to facilities and utility systems.

  • Performs all aspects of project management including scope, cost, schedule, and resource allocation.

  • Establishes and implements new process methods in facilities management to reduce costs and improve equipment reliability.

  • Collaborates with Department Managers to schedule and execute critical maintenance tasks.

  • Identify critical equipment from safety, quality and customer service standpoint. Put repair and contingency plans in place for potential equipment issues.

  • Provides troubleshooting assistance for plant technical resources related to facilities equipment.

  • Supports development of facility equipment qualification and commissioning including IQ/OQ/FAT and Engineering Studies.

  • Develops new procedures, innovative systems, equipment and technologies that enhance operational effectiveness.

About you

  • BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college preferred.

  • 2-5 years applicable experience in facility engineering in a manufacturing environment.

  • Demonstrated experience with HVAC, Steam Systems, Chilled Water Systems, Compressed Air Systems, Building Automation Systems, and Facility Maintenance.

  • A successful candidate will be able to connect with all levels of the organization. Management experience preferred.

  • This position requires extensive use of computer equipment. Must have a demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft business software to include Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

  • Experience with Microsoft Project is preferred.

  • Experience with building automation systems in preferred.
