Job Overview:
Responsible in all aspects of deck activities. This role will be working in offshore vessel.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Carry out general housekeeping
Responsible for general rigging and de-rigging pertaining to vessel activities
Loading and offloading materials
Mooring and un-mooring barges and boats alongside
Any activities as instructed by the Rigger Leader man and Foreman
Participate in the Emergency Response Team
Continuously monitor rigging equipment being used and remove from service any equipment found defective
Participate in the project work on the vessel, e.g., grinding, assist with making of field joints, etc
Continually clean general deck areas to remove potential obstructions and return equipment and
materials not in use to their designated storage areas
Responsible for refusing unsafe work and for carrying out all work in accordance with the
established HSES Safety standards and Work practices
Following all company policies and procedures, and ensuring subordinates do the same
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Experience in the offshore industry
BOSIET
Valid Medical Certificate of Fitness
STCW Reg
VI-6 – Security Familiarization
Rigging Certificate
