Ford is launching SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) IT system to modernize the Global Production Warehouses. Ideal candidate for this position would be a person who has excellent experience in Warehouse Functional Processes/Operations along with experience in implementing IT Warehouse Management systems preferably SAP EWM.

Ability to draw up Process Training Plans for coaching the warehouse personnel on the IT EWM system processes to ensure successful implementation, usage of the product by Warehouse personnel

Provide guidance on best practices warehouse process and functions

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into a solution conforming to best in class IT EWM processes

Ability to understand the breadth and depth of the deliverable and how the solution fits into the larger picture.

Responsible for the Functional aspects of the Analysis and Design Process and its associated documentation – functional specification, Training Plans, Process management etc

Guides and troubleshoots during the implementation

Responsible for defining and timely completion of required task with little or no assistance or oversight.

Ability to act as a lead Process coach for others on the team to drive IT EWM implementation on the ground

Facilitates getting the involvement of any other group, other IT teams, interfacing teams or individuals needed to lead delivery of the team

Able to conduct presentations to all audiences on a variety of subjects

Able to communicate with team members and clients in a clear, consistent, and professional manner.

As a Functional Manager, able to initiate communication and follow-up promptly and consistently.

Suggests tools and processes needed to improve the way we operate

Reviews the team’s deliverables for adherence to standards, processes and to ensure quality

Identify risks, issues and address them working with cross functional teams in IT & Business

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

7+ years of experience as a Warehouse Process coach/Incharge of Warehouse Operations with IT system implementations in Warehouse or broader MP&L Space

5+ years of Material handling/flow functional experience

Must be familiar with Supply Chain business models

Strong warehouse and material movement Process Knowledge and experience.

Strong analytical skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to interact effectively both internally and externally.

Specialized skills and Knowledge:

Knowledge on SAP EWM or other WMS is a definite advantage

Familiarity with related IT enterprise hardware like scanners related to EWM
