Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Responsible for all preventative maintenance, mechanical repairs, and change outs for the terminal. The role includes repairing, installing, adjusting, and maintaining systems both in the field and in the maintenance shop.

Hard Skills

  • Perform maintenance ranging from basic level service (filter changes) to complex replacement of seals and valves

  • Adjust safety valve settings

  • Experience with pumps, motors, controls, and other related equipment

  • In-shop and field repair services for mechanical seals and other related equipment

  • Shaft alignments with dial indicator and/or electronic Laser alignment systems

  • Predictive maintenance services such as greasing valve motors and related equipment

Soft Skills

  • Effective communication with operations, maintenance, and management

  • Develop and maintain a positive attitude with other departments

  • Maintain an organized, clean, and resourceful work environment

  • Adhere to all safety-related policies, rules, and guidelines

  • Consistently provide courteous and professional representation of the company

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Work Environment

Work will be done outdoors, and candidates need to be comfortable with this environment. They will also need to access stairs regularly.
