Location:** Las Vegas, NV; Chesterfield, MO or Jefferson City, MO (with option for hybrid remote and in-office work schedule)

Rose International is currently seeking a qualified, highly-skilled, and organized self-starter to join our team as Director of Legal Affairs in our Las Vegas office. The Director of Legal Affairs will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters of the company, managing risk exposure, and ensuring legal compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong work ethic, exceptional problem-solving skills, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic work place.

Minimum/Required Qualifications: Juris Doctorate from an American Bar Association accredited law school Active admission to any state bar in good standing (California a plus) 3-5 years of relevant legal experience Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills People oriented, results driven, highly organized, and meticulous attention to detail Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and efficiently (verbally and in writing) Demonstrated leadership skills, exceptional judgment and integrity, and adept at making smart decisions Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Duties and Responsibilities: Counsel executive management on new and existing labor and employment laws and legal issues that may impact the businesss functionality (including but not limited to wage and hour, FMLA, Title VII, ADA/ADAAA, and non-compete) Provide compliance expertise and consultation to internal and external employees on labor and employment, employee relations, and immigration-related issues Manage, investigate, and submit responses/position statements for EEOC charges of discrimination and/or other administrative complaints Review, draft, update, and negotiate various business and professional services contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and employment terms agreements Manage all aspects of pre-litigation, administrative charges/complaints, and labor and employment litigation matters (including management of outside counsel) Review and draft legal strategy in response to all pre-litigated and litigated matters Manage and update all employee handbooks and on-boarding paperwork as necessary Research miscellaneous legal matters as needed Assist with the development, implementation, and updating of legal policies, procedures, and practices in coordination with executive management Draft, file, and manage all employment-based petitions, such as H-1B visas, and other immigration-related documents
