Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and SQL.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Continually learn about new programming languages, operating systems, and technologies to keep updated with the industry.

• Troubleshoot, optimize, and performance-tune existing systems.

• Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 2+ years' experience as a Java Developer or similar role.

• Solid understanding of Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and SQL.

• Familiarity with AWS services such as SQS, SNS, ECS, SDK/CDK is a plus.

• Experience with applications Splunk, DataDog, Dynatrace, AWS Cloudwatch are an advantage.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Open to continuous learning and development opportunities.

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

• Knowledge of airline industry e-tickets, PNRs, and EMDs.

• Familiarity with United Airlines internal UCD events.
