Working with AnthroMed Education is fast paced, challenging, yet rewarding. Our headquarters is in Chicago, IL, and we are searching for a new Talent Acquisition Specialist who is smart, resourceful, naturally curious, focused, and ready to help us expand our organization to new heights in 2024.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recruit candidates through cold calls, Indeed, LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and any legal and ethical sources.

  • Source new names and candidate information and input related information into our applicant tracking system.

  • Support the Manager and your team on outreach in building meaningful relationships with new Pre-K-12 school partners. General tasks and clerical help may be required.

  • Contact potential candidates for open positions in the field of Special Education.

  • Introduce candidates directly to schools for open job orders and manage the interview process with candidates to ensure the jobs are filled properly by AnthroMed on behalf of our school clientele.

  • Input all data into the applicant tracking system. Record all related candidate lists in the applicant tracking system, including spreadsheets for AnthroMed, including but not limited to candidate names, leads, available qualified candidates.

  • Secure new hire documentation, employment credentials with State agencies, and stay up to date on licensure & hiring credentials.

  • Take on ad-hoc projects when they arise.

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum one year of experience in the staffing or recruiting industry, or similar internal talent acquisition experience is required.

  • Experience in school settings or exposure to schools through other industries or professional experiences is highly preferred.

  • Must be highly entrepreneurial and resourceful. Finding new and unique ways of leveraging your efforts will be a major key to success.

  • Honesty and integrity are required. You will be held to the highest ethical standards.

  • Passionate about working in the field of Special Education. Must be willing to learn, work hard, and take ownership of everything you do.

  • Possess zest, grit, hope, social and emotional intelligence, gratitude, and a sense of humor.
