Northwest Florida Community Hospital F.T Central Sterile Processor, Surgical Services in Chipley, Florida

The central sterile processing tech at Northwest Florida Community Hospital is responsible for everything in the workroom such as sterile instruments and processing them and making sure it follows our policy's and procedures.

Performs decontamination, sterilization, and processing of supplies and equipment used during invasive and non-invasive procedures. May be assigned to different areas focusing on a variety of duties which all require the use of state-of- the art sterile processing methods and strict adherence to established departmental policies and procedures.Requirements: High School diploma or GED equivalent. Central Sterile Technician Certification preferred. Medical terminology; Medical equipment. One year of experience.*
