UC HEALTH LLC Certified Pharmacy Technician -Med Access for Autoimmune, First Shift, Specialty Pharmacy in CINCINNATI, Ohio

Location: UC Medical Center Department: Specialty Pharmacy Hours: Full-Time, 40 Hours / Weekly Shift: First Shift UC Health is hiring a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician in our Specialty Pharmacy at the University of Cincinnati's Medical Center. Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. Pharmacy technicians trainees work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed by only a registered pharmacist. ``` - Education: required High School Diploma or GED - License and Certification: Current pharmacy technician registration and certification that is recognized by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy is required. - Years of Experience: No experience required, 1 - 2 Years equivalent experience preferred. - Required Skills and Knowledge: Ability to perform work accurately with attention to detail within specified time periods; work cooperatively with health-system and pharmacy staff; handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule; set priorities and solve problems; respond quickly to emergency requests; communicate effectively (orally and in writing), and assist in meeting the pharmaceutical care needs of the patient populations served by the organization.
