Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team in CINCINNATI, Ohio. This role provides an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where you will handle general ledger accounting, month-end close processes, and tax computations. As a Sr. Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and assisting in decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accurate processing of general ledger entries

• Manage account reconciliation tasks, ensuring all financial data is accurate

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations to verify transaction details

• Handle month-end close processes, ensuring all financial data is accounted for and reported on time

• Prepare and file excise tax and other indirect tax forms as required

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks

• Respond to inquiries related to accounting and taxation

• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies

• Perform any other duties related to the role of a Sr. Accountant. Requirements

• Must hold a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Accountant

• Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations

• Demonstrable experience with general ledger operations and journal entries

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in month end close procedures is required

• Knowledge and experience in using NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP software

• Understanding of excise tax, indirect tax, and sales tax procedures

• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy
