Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Distribution Engineer located in Clearwater, FL. This person will be supporting projects relating to distribution design for their end clients within the utilities industry. Design work will pertain substation optimization, replacements of poles, power lines, transmission boxes, and single target work. This person must have an eagerness and ability to learn new skills relating to design layouts and software tools for the creation of these designs.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in an engineering related field: Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Aerospace, Industrial, or etc. engineering

Distribution design software experience: BOUD, microstation, PLS CAD, etc.

1.5 - 7 years of work experience within distribution engineering

Coachable eager to learn and pick up on new skills

Hardworking with an outgoing personality

Ability to be a problem solver and aptitude to be forward-thinking

Passion or interest in engineering design work relating to the distribution industry null
